Below are pictures of the gravestone of the wives of the Rev. John Cleaveland. Apparently, both of the Rev. John Cleaveland's wives, both named Mary, were buried together next to him. It was a magnificent double headed stone, quite large with ornate carvings around the two top sections and very large, clear engraving which is still quite legible. Unfortunately, the stone fell over at some point in time and lies on the ground, broken into four pieces. Below are shots of the stone taken on a clear spring day which hopefully capture the beauty of this monument.
