Below is everything I have on the Sounia (Saulnier) family who came to New England from Nova Scotia in the 1800's. I usually do not post anything until I have documented it as thoroughly as possible; however, this line has been very hard to document, so I am posting it with the hope that someone else is researching the same line. 2.	JOHN FRANCOIS2 SOUNIA (RAYMOND1) was born November 27, 1858 in Mategan, Nova Scotia, died April 30, 1936 in Beverly, Massachusetts, and was buried in Troy, New Hampshire. He emigrated to New Hampshire in 1872. He married (1) EMMELINE HENNESSEY. He married (2) MATILDA FRAZIER March 1, 1886 in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, daughter of HENRY FRAZIER and LIZZIE FURGOZIE. She was born 1861 in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, and died December 1, 1916 in Beverly, Massachusetts.
	Children of JOHN SOUNIA and MATILDA FRAZIER are:
	i.	JOHN LOUIS SOUNIA, b. September 6, 1899, Dublin, New Hampshire; d. April 18, 1957, Beverly, Massachusetts; m. DOROTHY RANDALL FOSTER, August 6, 1921, Salem, Massachusetts; b. May 18, 1902, Beverly, Massachusetts; d. March 12, 1979, Beverly, Massachusetts. Both John and Dorothy are buried in North Beverly Cemetery, Beverly, Massachusetts.
	ii.	MARY SOUNIA.
	iii.	EVA SOUNIA, b. July 29, 1893; d. June 1976.
	iv.	CHARLES SOUNIA, b. September 22, 1897, Jaffrey, New Hampshire; d. February 9, 1907, Beverly, Massachusetts.
